I am thrilled to share some wonderful news from the National Executive Committee (NEC) Meeting at the JWV Convention in Atlantic City yesterday morning. Charley Jay, one of our own, was honored with the prestigious J. Murray Award. This award, given in memory of PNC Murray L. Rosen, recognizes a member who best exemplifies the ideals and aspirations of the Jewish War Veterans of the U.S.A. through their dedicated work on behalf of veterans, Jews, and the broader community.

National Commander Barry Lischinsky presented the award and spoke highly of Charley's unwavering dedication and loyalty to our organization. He highlighted Charley's exceptional leadership within the Department and the significant impact of his contributions. Commander Lischinsky also took a moment to recognize Charley's wife for her steadfast support and loyalty, which has been instrumental in Charley's ongoing commitment to JWV.

Please join me in congratulating Charley Jay on this well-deserved recognition. His tireless efforts have made a meaningful difference, and we are proud to have him as a leader in our Department.

Best regards,

Scott Schlesinger
